Statement of Faith(The Great Confession)
- God is bigger, better, and closer than we can imagine.
- The Bible is God's Word to everyone, a perfect guidebook for living, and perfect in its teachings, in it's instructions, and its history and its predictions of the future.
- God exists eternally and has revealed Himself to us in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
- Jesus is God showing Himself to us. He is God's one and only Son who took the form of a man, died for the sins of the whole world, and rose from the grave three days later. He sits at God's right hand, the Lord and Savior of all the earth.
- Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and works through His children even now. The Holy Spirit is promised to all who believe and are baptized in Jesus name.
- Nothing in creation "just happened." God made it all. He still rules over His creation today.
- God's grace to us, through our faith, is the only way to have a relationship to God.
- Faith in God is the only way to grow in our relationship with Him.
- God has allowed evil to exist to provide us with a choice. In fact, evil exists because God doesn't force people to follow Him.
- Heaven and Hell are real places. Death is a beginning, not the end.
- The Church is to serve, teach, and love others just as Christ did.
- Jesus is coming back to earth soon.
